Activity, priority and relations of AICARR. AICARR is a cultural nonprofit association of people whose activity is directly or indirectly related to the science and technology of systems set up for the production, distribution and use of thermal energy for resicental, commercial and industrial applications.

In 2002 86% more underfloor heating was installed in Italy than 1999. Resulted by full system technology.
The European Market of Surface Heating and Cooling by Mr. Winfried Hamich, Engineer.
The total European ufh market rose steadily from 155million metres (1992) to 236 million metres (2002) and is expected to top 260 million metres by 2006. We don’t expect the trend to end because ufh systems have ceased to be a luxury product and morphed into rather unviversal energy-saving heating and cooling systems for all kinds of dwellings and commercial buildings.
Prof. Roberto Zecchin of the University of Padua presented calculated simulations of slab heating and cooling in a real project which is going to be realised. So soon we can compare simulation and results! This project should be presented on eu-ray web-site.
