Dear fellows,
We just learned that we lost a dear friend!
Winfried Hamich,
founder and Editor-in-Chief of KWD and globalpipe, aged 70, passed away peacefully on June 5th 2009 after a brief but serious illness.
Mr. Hamich was without any doubt the best network player in synthetic and heating&plumbing industry and his work was based on very close friendships.
The death of Winfried Hamich is certainly a terrible blow for his loved ones. Our thoughts are with them.

The funeral will be held at
Darmstadt Westfriedhof Cemetery
on Tuesday 16th June at 1.00 p.m.

Variotherm, an Austrian heating systems company, have recently launched a new product mainly aimed at the refurbishment market.
The idea is to offer insulating panels with the pipe readily incorporated ex works. Whereas other systems require the pipe to be put into the panel by hand on site Variotherm offer a wide range of panel-sizes for ufh and wall heating as well as for chilled ceilings with the pipe already in place. |
